The Beaufort is a cheese with cow's milk with cooked pressing dough. Very estimated for its fruity flavor, the Beaufort is a smooth cheese in the taste typified without being strong. Its zone of manufacturing concerns the valleys of Beaufortin, Tarentaise, Maurienne and part of the Val d' Arly.

Rate of fat

The dry extract is 61 % and the fat 48 % minimum.
